Ron Bryson, Employee Benefit Consultant
Ron is one of our senior advisors specializing in employee benefits. He entered the business in 1977 at age 22 and has therefore advised many business owners in the past five decades. Many clients would say Ron’s specialty is in presenting their groups to the insurance companies in such a way so as to extract the best quotations and renewals. When consulting with prospective groups, very often, he will creatively restructure the plan designs to maximize value such as change LTD benefit to a 5 year benefit period and increase dental to 100% for the same premium as before. Many new clients found out they qualified for Employment Insurance discounts and didn’t even know about it until Ron brought it to their attention. Ron is very aggressive on your behalf and thanks to technology, he is able to service groups across Canada and jealously represent you to the marketplace.
On a personal note, Ron is a family man. He loves his dogs – in fact all dogs; plays tournament tennis and poker; runs the annual Sun Run. He speaks French, takes at least one family cruise a year and makes his home in Vancouver.

Our Partners Are Top Canadian Insurance Companies
We are fortunate to be working with all the companies in Canada who will accept applications the new efficient way – the Internet. We operate almost exclusively non-face-to-face over the phone and electronically through the Internet. The good news is that these companies are the price leaders and offer outstanding product variety, value and customer service.
In early 2000s, the founder of the company met with many of these companies to convince them that this was the way of the future and what we did was completely compliant with regulations. A few took months before they would accept this new innovative approach while others held out years until we had proven our process and only then they would allowed us to sell their products in this manner. Below is a growing list of companies that we represent and those who we do not work with at this time.

Companies we do not work with often have agents who only sell their own products which effectively prohibiting consumers from shopping for the best rates or coverage.
There are also other providers in the marketplace operating as insurance resellers. These providers sell insurance products by adding a marketing charge on top of the actual insurance companies’ products thus making the premiums more expensive than buying directly. These insurance resellers are automobile or professional associations, grocers, retailers, department stores, hardware stores, mortgage lenders and the banks’ mortgage insurance.
In Canada we have a not-for-profit organization called Assuris, that protects insurance policyholders in the event that their life insurance company should default. Equally important, the Canadian government also regulates life insurance companies requiring them to maintain conservative capital ratios. This kind of conservative capital requirement does not exist with insurance conglomerates in the United States or elsewhere.
